Odom’s celebrity will now increase exponentially as a TV star with that of an NBA baller.
As inevitably expected, the lives of Laker forward Lamar Odom and his Hollywood society wife Khloe Kardashian will be chronicled on TV, E! Entertainment Television confirmed Wednesday.
The network has greenlighted eight episodes of the tentatively titled Khloe & Lamar from Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim-Murray Productions. It’s scheduled to start shooting early this year.
Khloe & Lamar will be the third spinoff of E!’s successful Keeping Up With the Kardashians franchise, following Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami and Kourtney & Kim Take New York, which debuts Jan. 23.
You just knew this was happening. With Odom’s high profile as a member of the drama-laden Los Angeles Lakers and Khloe’s celebrity induced Kardashian blood, a reality show could not be far behind.
Word has it that Khloe’s brother Rob, who lives with the celebrity couple, will be featured in the new series as well.
Now Odom will have cameras in his face at home as well as at work. Good luck with that, dude!
