Ron Artest plans to wear the name “Peace” on the back of his jersey next season. Kumbaya!!
Los Angeles Lakers forward RON ARTEST apparently has the OCHOCINCO bug. TMZ reports that Ron Ron has “filed a petition in L.A. County Superior Court to change his name to-World Peace.”
Artest seeks to have his complete name changed to “Metta World Peace,” with “metta” being the Buddhist term meaning, “virtue of kindness.”
Far cry from the guy who incited a riot at a game in Detroit several years ago.
Ron Ron is a cool dude, folks…a lot like Chad Ochocinco. A fun-loving guy whose heart is in the right place…
It’s Ron Ron’s head that we sometimes worry about, however.
