Oh damn! Artest’s failure to handle his obligations have put a damper on his metta world barbeque plans.
It appears that court officials in Los Angeles have decided not to accommodate RON ARTEST the way he has failed to accommodate them. A L.A. court commissioner has delayed ruling on Artest’s bid to change his name to METTA WORLD PEACE until Sept 16.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ charismatic forward, who tweeted the above messages on Twitter on Thursday, had planned on partying up his name change, but his outstanding traffic warrants were listed as the reason for the commissioner’s ruling, according to Superior Court spokeswoman Elizabeth Martinez.
That’s how things go in life: What you do (or in Artest’s case, don’t do…like fail to pay up his traffic tickets) eventually comes back on you. Uhhh…Artest make$ how much again?? Smh.
