Ted Ginn Jr. puts on his sports car speed to lead the 49ers to an opening day win over the Seattle Seahawks.

With less than four minutes left in their season opening contest, the San Francisco 49ers found themselves in a dogfight with the Seattle Seahawks after TAVARIS JACKSON got Seattle to within two points. That’s when mercurial wideout-return man TED GINN JR. revved up his engine for the Niners…

Ginn went from 0-to-60 in ten seconds flat to put the 49ers up by eight (nine with the extra point), then went for another quick spin on the Seahawks special teams minutes later, taking another punt 55 yards for the score, driving the 49ers to a 33-17 victory…

I’ve been waiting for Ginn to show his stuff in the NFL…dude has incredible speed and tremendous potential out of Ohio State. Maybe he’ll finally get a chance to really accelerate this year for first-year head coach Jim Harbaugh.

If Ginn can continue to produce like he did on Sunday, he’ll have to purchase quite a few cans of motor oil for sure.
