Smith walks and even scuffles like a Panther. There is no punking this dude! Trust.

CAM NEWTON to STEVE SMITH is quickly turning into a lethal weapon combination for the Carolina Panthers. On Sunday, Smith caught a spectacular 54-yard pass from Newton for the Panthers first score of the game against New Orleans, but not without some extracurricular from Saints safety Roman Harper…

Harper’s cheap shot on Smith set off an end zone scuffle as Smith and Saints cornerback Malcolm Jenkins got into it after the TD score…

Smith initially shrugged off the illegal blow by Harper, choosing instead to celebrate his score…but once that wore off, he went after Jenkins, bulldozing him to the ground setting off the fight.

First off, Steve Smith is not one of those diva receivers. No one is gonna bully this guy. Smith has a linebacker mentality with linebacker strength…only he catches passes! He pinned Jenkins to the ground like a rag doll.

As far as Newton goes, Carolina Cam is doing his thing (16 of 31, 224 yards, 2TDs)…it’s just not translating into wins at the moment. The Panthers lost a close one to the Saints, 30-27 to fall to 1-4.
