The bond between Isaiah Thomas and Nate Robinson is no small order. Neither is their desire to succeed.

The NBA can be a grind especially for players trying to find a niche. In S.O.N. Episode 6, NATE ROBINSON takes young buddy and NBA rook ISAIAH THOMAS under his wing in preparing him for his first NBA season, while schooling the final pick of the 2011 NBA draft chosen by the Sacramento Kings about the nuances of the pro game…

Nate and Isaiah both starred individually at the University of Washington (Robinson from 2002-2005, Thomas from 2008-2011) yet both have a bond like long-time teammates. And as you can see in the video, the two have a height inferiority complex, both standing officially at five-foot-nine.

Yet lack of size isn’t a hindrance to either one. Both put in the work, remaining steadfast in their desire to succeed in a tall man’s game. One is a rock for the other.

We’ve witnessed the impact Nate has had in the league. Now with Golden State, Robinson looks to write a new chapter in his NBA journey. For Isaiah, it’s just getting started.

With Robinson as his mentor and close friend, Thomas can do nothing but succeed as well.
