My rhyme ain’t done: Mariano Rivera vows to return to his Sandman self following ACL surgery. Believe it.

When New York Yankees legendary reliever MARIANO RIVERA went down for the season with a torn ACL in a freak accident, it was feared his marvelous career may be over. Even a teary-eyed Rivera himself expressed doubts. But Mo quickly got his mojo back and declared he’s not going out like that which inspired our old fake rocker friend (and obvious Yankee fan) to come up with this parody of Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’…

Rivera is unquestionably the greatest major league baseball reliever of all-time with career totals of 608 saves, 2.21 ERA and 1,119 strike outs. The 12-time All-Star also is a World Series MVP, all-time leader in postseason saves and a 5-time World Champion. Trust. Mo’s rhyme ain’t done.

No doubt Rivera has to be inspired by this little piece of parody song uplift as he begins the long road back to recovery and relievin’.
