L.A. Dodgers star MATT KEMP, fresh off the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain, appears headed back on the DL list. Kemp aggravated his hamstring again while scoring a run Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Brewers then proceeded to literally lose it in the dugout, breaking a bat over his knee before heading to the clubhouse…
Said Kemp after the game: “I don’t know what happened. It’s just kind of gave out. It’s definitely frustrating, having just come back, and now I will be sitting out a while. I tried to hide it, but there really was no hiding this.”
Apparently not. But it’s understandable behavior considering that Kemp was having an MVP-type year for the first-place Dodgers batting .355 with a .719 slugging percentage.
No player wants to go down when everything is going good.
