Parker will miss practice with the French Olympic team due to eye injury sustained in NYC nightclub brawl.

News of the CHRIS BROWN-DRAKE nightclub brawl in Manhattan this week has made major headlines. But as a side note to the bottle throwing incident that took place between members of both entertainer’s entourages at New York’s WIP nightclub early Thursday was the eye injury suffered by San Antonio Spurs point guard TONY PARKER, who was among Brown’s party group.
Parker was left with a scratched retina on his left eye during the bottle-throwing melee due to flying shards of glass and will miss a week of practice with the French national team in preparation for the upcoming Olympics.
“I was with my friend Chris Brown and me and my friends took some punches, so I’ll be missing the start of the French team because I can’t do anything for a week except keep the lens in and then take drops,” Parker admitted upon his return flight to France.
“They started throwing bottles everywhere. I don’t know what happened. At first it was OK, but then it started getting worse and when the plane landed it was really hurting so I went straight to the ER.”
Chris Brown suffered a nasty cut on his chin and New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert, who was also present at the nightclub, avoided injury altogether as security ushered him out of the club before the incident took place.
The whole affair reportedly popped off over beef involving Brown’s and Drake’s ex-friend, pop singer Rihanna.
That figures. Talk about Rude Boys being Stupid in Love. Brown and Drake definitely took a trip to Disturbia with this one.
