Young and Restless Kyrie Irving figures he has plenty of game for the confident and cocky Kobe Bryant.

If nothing else, KOBE BRYANT is a confident, cocky son of a jellybean. Recently, Cleveland Cavs young buck KYRIE IRVING challenged the Black Mamba to a game of one-on-one for $50,000 with proceeds going to the winner’s favorite charity. Listen to how Bryant responded to Irving’s proposed “friendly” contest between the two…

Kobe almost felt insulted that the 20-year old guard would fix his mouth to even suggest he’d beat the 14-time All-Star, who will turn 34 in August. Bryant even tells Irving he’s going to need a pick to get free of the Mamba once Bryant coils his 9-time All-NBA first-team defense around the second year pro.
Yeah, Irving Uncle Drew clearly would be in over his head versus Bryant but no more than Kobe and Team USA would be in over theirs against Michael Jordan in his prime and the rest of the 1992 Dream Team.
You see Kobe…how you feel about young Kyrie knocking you off your block is exactly how Pippen, Barkley and Jordan feel about you and your Olympic teammates conquering theirs. Too young (well, not so much for you) and too inexperienced, Mister Mamba!
Take baby steps, Kobe. Baby steps, Kyrie.
