Ward expressed his frustration with the growing DUI epidemic in the NFL saying some players are blowing it for all.

Recently retired NFL running back DERRICK WARD has a greater appreciation for the privilege of being able to play the sport he loved professionally and get paid for it now that he has hung up his cleats. Maybe that’s why Ward felt the need to blast his NFL brethren who in recent weeks have been involved in a rash of DUI arrests. Ward went off on his ex-NFL mates Twitter…
Titans’ wideout Kenny Britt, Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch, Chiefs DB Donald Washington and Detroit DT Corey Williams are just a few arrested teetotalers accused of driving under the influence.
Ward’s chastising of these idiots is well-founded and obviously imploring. Because if this trend continues, something tragic is bound to happen. These clueless fools should thank God nothing has already.
Ward made one more point in his Twitter venting to his fellow NFL mates. He warned them that N-F-L could mean “Not For Long league” for those who continue to find themselves in trouble with the law.
And you can be certain Roger Goodell will see to that.
