Disguised as Clark Kent on Twitter over the last four months, Howard recently emerged as the Lakers’ Superman.

Over the weekend, DWIGHT HOWARD updated both his Twitter and Facebook accounts with this feature portrait that originally ran in the L.A. Times, ushering in his era with Lakers…uhh, from a social standpoint.

The portrait depicts Howard as the next great big man in the pantheon of legendary Laker centers, joining the fraternity of bigs George Mikan, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Shaquille O’Neal.

Howard hasn’t tweeted since April 20, clearly maintaining a low profile amid all the trade talk innuendo that preceded his blockbuster trade to the Lakers.

I’m feeling the portrait but the only way it becomes a masterpiece is if Dwight achieves what those other great Laker centers achieved: The NBA title.

As his Twitter page states, Howard will certainly be trying to make his newfound freedom ring.
