Former Dallas Mavericks guard JASON TERRY isn’t done making championship predictions nor is he through looking to torment the Miami Heat. Now that JET has landed in Boston, courtesy of a new 3-year, $15 million free agent deal, Terry is wasting little time reveling in life as a Celtic. You might say dude has gone green with frenzy…
Terry is obviously excited about what surrounds him in Boston: A clear cut championship contender featuring solid HOF veterans, a top notch coach, premier point guard and promising influx of young talent. All Terry has to do is replace Ray Allen as the Celtics’ new deep threat.
Upon arriving in Boston, Terry immediately upped the Celtics championship ante by getting a tattoo of a leprechaun holding the O’Brien Trophy, hoping to repeat his tatted championship trophy forecast from 2011. With an influx of young talent and Jeff Green back from heart surgery, Terry says he can’t wait to put on his new No. 4 Celtics jersey.
Something the ever-enthusiastic Terry is certainly capable of doing. He is fourth in NBA history with 1,788 3-pointers, trailing only Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, and Jason Kidd.
Got to love JET’s swagger. You can tell dude can’t wait to go green this fall. Look for Terry to definitely add his special brand of JET fuel to the Celtics-Heat and Lakers-Celtics rivalry fires.
