Football is back to being fun for CAM NEWTON and his Carolina Panthers after Thursday night’s 31-13 shellacking of the reeling Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Newton, whose toothy smile could easily pass for a Pepsodent ad, played spectacular completing 23 of 32 passes for 221 yards with 2 TDs. Newton even ran for a score as the Panthers (4-3) won for the third consecutive time after an 0-2 start.

The fun is back in Cam Newton’s game after steamrolling the Buccaneers with a TD run and his familiar Superman shirt rip in the end zone. Newton is having so much fun that he’s taken the celebration on the road to Panther fans in the stands.

Post game interviews are a pleasure to do when you’re successful and victorious. Check Cam’s enthusiasm on the NFL Network set after the game…

A Deion Sanders rap CD, Warren Sapp voodoo doll—complete with signature cornrows I might add—and Coach Mooch hideously spewing “Whoa Cam!” are par for the course when Cam’s on top of his NFL game. Let the good times roll!

But seriously, Newton has been simply outstanding during Carolina’s winning streak, throwing for 667 yards, six TDs and no interceptions.

Dude’s been so good that I can now go back to calling him by my favorite Newton moniker: Carolina Cam.
