I don’t know if the Pacers are the NBA’s best kept secret but they are less scrutinized than the Knicks, Nets and Heat. By far. For example, the Knicks and Nets get more coverage for being bad than Indy gets for being good.

Part of it is as Hibbert says, lack of a superstar performer although Paul George is making a strong case this year. Most of it is being a small market club. If this Pacers team played in New York, they would be splashed all over town by now.

But Hibbert and his boys are going about it the right way: Let your play earn your sway. If this Indiana team does what I believe they will do, Hibbert and the Pacers will wind up with more than their share of press. Trust.
