JOSH SMITH and the Detroit Pistons rolled into Miami with plans on competing with the Heat. They did much more than that as Smith caught CHRIS BOSH trying to contest this first quarter fastbreak foray…

Lord Jesus, Mary and Joseph! The last place Bosh wanted to find himself was on the wrong end of a Pistons fastbreak with Smith barreling down the lane to receive the pass. Posh Bosh got the back-breaker windmill special after the Brandon Jennings dish to Smith.

The fair weather folks at American Airlines Arena might as well have just gotten up and left at that point. Though their Miami Heat staged a furious fourth quarter rally, they would not catch Detroit, falling to the Pistons, 107-97.

Smith (15 points) was one of seven Pistons in double figures as Detroit snapped Miami’s 10-game win streak.

Dude looked like he snapped Chris Bosh in two on that vicious slam. We believe DeAndre Jordan would agree.
