Baby steps: The Heat’s No. 2 in charge insists doubters of Dwyane Wade will be proven totally wrong come June.

Naysayers of the Miami Heat—and DWYANE WADE in particular—have been put on notice: Results are coming soon. The No. 2 Heatle has a new ad out endorsing the Mission Court Grip traction enhancer where he displays his physical work regimen as he looks to answer the critics’ persistent question of has he lost a step…

Being one of those doubters, I wouldn’t say Wade has lost a step as much as I would contend he may have compromising knees. But the 32-year old veteran of 10 NBA seasons is a proud stallion. He’s certainly not going out without a fight.

Granted, D-Wade is averaging 19.5 points, 4.6 rebs and 5 assists this season. One of his best on record. And Pat Riley’s conservation of his superstar’s knees by having him sit out games this year may indeed pay dividends come June but there’s a team in Indiana that just may be the banana peel in Wade and the Heat’s tailpipe.

But it’s like Dwyane Wade says himself: We’ll see in June.
