First name Champion: Russell Wilson takes in thousands of cheering fans at Seahawks parade in Seattle.

Hundreds upon thousands of cheering fans—700 thousand to be exact—lined the streets of downtown Seattle and CenturyLink Field Wednesday to cheer on their Super Bowl champion Seahawks in the biggest parade-celebration in the Emerald City’s history…

Clockwise (LtoR): Cornerback Sherman gives a thumbs up to 12th Man; Quarterback Wilson brings the Lombardi Trophy home to Seattle; Champion Golden Tate takes a gulp of champagne; Marshawn Lynch gets it poppin’ as Wilson sports the spoils; Folks turned out in record numbers; Seattle kids skipped school to join in the festivities; Lynch trades in his beastmode persona for chillmode on championship float; LOB’s Sherman, Bobby Wagner and Earl Thomas enjoying the moment at CenturyLink.

All of Seattle was abuzz with euphoria over the team’s first-ever Super Bowl title as the World Champion Seahawks parade route began near the Space Needle and ended up at Century Link Field, where the 12th Man got to revel in a spirited Seahawks championship ceremony.

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson proclaimed to over 700,000 roaring fans, “Our plan is to win another one for you next year!”

With the kind of shutdown defense that lowered the boom on the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, that assertion seems pretty legitimate.

Mighty congratulations to the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
