It’s quite possible that the Pacers haven’t seen the last of Danny Granger. They might face him in the playoffs.

Parting ways is such sweet sorrow. For years, DANNY GRANGER was the face of the Indiana Pacers. Now he is a 76er. Such is life in the NBA. On Friday before departing on a plane to Philadelphia, Granger stopped by the Pacers practice facility for a solemn farewell to his ex-teammates…

Through a source it was revealed that Granger was “pissed” when he heard he had been traded to Philly. After working so hard in his comeback attempt from various nagging injuries, Granger must now audition for his upcoming free agent status with the Sixers.

The man that is currently the face of the franchise, Paul George, issued this rousing tribute to his buddy Granger via Twitter…

Don’t expect Granger to stay in Philly for very long. If a buyout takes place with the Sixers, Granger could end up playing for a title contender like the Heat or Spurs.

Wouldn’t that be something if he winds up in Miami? Talk about weird ironies…
