Disgusted at the New York Knicks for their treatment of his brother, METTA WORLD PEACE’S younger sibling, Daniel Artest, took to Twitter Saturday to trash the Knicks organization, calling them “bull*ish,” classless and nothing like the Lakers organization with whom World Peace played four seasons and won an NBA title…
The Knicks are currently working on a buyout of guard Beno Udrih’s and World Peace’s contracts respectively. Artest believes the Knicks didn’t give his brother a chance to contribute and help the hometown team World Peace dreamed of playing for as a kid, even blasting Knicks head coach Mike Woodson as a “puppet” in the organization:
Obviously, Daniel Artest was sticking up for his brother here. Whether MWP could have had an impact with the Knicks is hard to say. After all, dude is past his prime. But I don’t think it can be considered family partisanship to suggest the Knicks are indeed a hot mess.
Their won-lost record and 41 years of title futility speak for itself.
