Troubled T-Wolf: Cunningham is back with the Timberwolves but his offcourt issues continue to make headlines.

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Dante Cunningham was arrested for the second time in the past week.

Medina Police arrested 26-year-old Cunningham on suspicion of terrorist threats Sunday and he was taken into custody at 12:24 p.m., according to Hennepin County Jail records.

Cunningham was originally arrested Thursday on charges of choking his girlfriend during a domestic dispute.

According to Minnesota law, a “terroristic threats” charge applies in situations where someone directly or indirectly threatens to commit violence with the purpose of terrorizing someone else.

Cunningham’s girlfriend, who isn’t named in the original arrest charge, claims she felt like she was being strangled to death by Cunningham. Seems as though the fifth-year pro threatened further harm to her person.

Cunningham was released on Friday after posting $40,000 bail.

The Timberwolves will let the legal system run its course in the Cunningham case before making any snap judgments but one can suspect Cunningham may be done in Minny. He is in the final season of a three-year, $6.3 million deal.
