Thirst Trap Duo: Kaepernick and Patton announced their Miami arrival to female fans via Instagram last week.

That Miami drama first reported by TMZ last week involving San Francisco 49ers QB COLIN KAEPERNICK and his NFL friends appears to be a falsehood according to Miami Police. You may recall Kaepernick and two football pals were accused of possible “sexual misconduct” with a woman the 26-year old quarterback had a previous sexual relationship with after she woke up in a Miami hospital following a night of partying with Kaepernick’s group:

A woman who said she previously had a sexual relationship with Kaepernick told police on April 3 that she passed out in Apt. 4710 in the Viceroy Hotel and Residences around midnight two days earlier.

Soon after, someone in the apartment contacted Miami Police, sources familiar with the incident said. When officers arrived, they grew concerned about the woman’s frame of mind and called Fire Rescue, which transported her to the hospital.

“At 12:32, Miami Fire Rescue was dispatched to the Viceroy and transported a 25-year-old female from the Viceroy to the Jackson Memorial Hospital emergency room,” Miami Fire Lt. Ignatius Carroll said.

Police are still investigating the incident but it appears Kaepernick and his friends sought help for the woman after she apparently had too much to drink and a substantive hit of marijuana as well.

Kaepernick professed his innocence via Twitter after the incident went public:

It’s likely no charges will be filed against the Niners QB, teammate Quinton Patton or Seahawks wideout Ricardo Lockette, who were also involved. But the whole incident begs the question: For what purpose were these guys trying to get the woman wasted with alcohol shots and weed in the first place? And the woman—who remains unidentified—apparently suspected foul play which is why she opted for a rape kit test.

If you ask me, I think this was a potential jump off situation that likely didn’t. Good thing for Kaepernick and his mates.
