Make no bones about it: LA LA ANTHONY stands by her man. After the NBA announced its All-NBA teams for 2013-14, La La expressed her disgust via Twitter when her husband failed to make the cut…at all!
Melo not only was snubbed from the All-NBA first team. Dude was overlooked for the second and third teams as well. This despite averaging 27.4 ppg and posting a career-high in rebounds:
Dizzamm, where is the love? Even if one manages to leave Melo off the first team (which I believe he belongs on), he should certainly be on the second. Here’s the list:
1st TEAM: Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Joakim Noah, Chris Paul and James Harden
2nd TEAM: Stephen Curry, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, Dwight Howard and Tony Parker
3rd TEAM: Al Jefferson, Paul George, LaMarcus Aldridge, Goran Dragic and Damian Lillard
One glaring, underlying message in all this: Being a playoff performer evidently matters most in making the squad. Every member of the All-NBA teams—with the exception of Kevin Love and Goran Dragic—led their respective teams to the playoffs.
That’s whatever as far as La La is concerned. She’s not having it. Can’t say I blame her.
