Fans took George’s “stay hydrated” credo to be ridicule at LeBron but PG says nothing could be farther from truth.

On Tuesday, PAUL GEORGE became the subject of ridicule after he posted a picture of himself drinking Gatorade, drawing the ire of Twitter followers everywhere with his alleged diss of LEBRON JAMES and his Game 1 cramping episode…

Twitter followers responded to George’s post as if he was sending a subtle message to LeBron that he should have “stayed hydrated” with Gatorade during Game 1 of the NBA Finals as to avoid the infamous cramping episode but George called the insinuation false, tweeting this response to fan reaction:

Although it may look like a diss of James, George actually endorses the Gatorade product and was simply posting his personal promo of the popular sports drink. Recall seeing this on TV?

I’d admit it didn’t help George’s claim since Gatorade actually did mock James over the cramping incident (but later apologized) but c’mon people…how dumb would George look going after LeBron after King James and the Heat just eliminated him and the Pacers in the ECF?

Peeps need to stop jumping to conclusions. Smh.
