Head up: Wilson’s dream of NFL stardom ended prematurely but he’s looking forward to success in future endeavors.
NFL: New York Giants-Training Camp

While Nike may appear extremely optimistic in PAUL GEORGE’S complete recovery from a career-threatening injury, there will be no bold attempt at a return to the gridiron for now former New York Giants RB DAVID WILSON. The 23-year old was told by doctors to end his NFL career or risk serious injury to his neck and spine after suffering a stinger in practice recently.

In an emotional presser announcing his premature retirement from football, Wilson steadfastly refused to be down about his plight, instead enthusiastically embracing the next phase in his life…

“These are tears of joy, man,” Wilson said. “Don’t for a second you all think that I’m pitying myself, or sad, ’cause I got to live my dream. And I’ll set another dream and be great at that. ’Cause I always look at trying to be great in whatever I do.”

This young man has always had a completely positive outlook on life. A quick visit to Wilson’s Instagram page will certainly attest to that. We at SSC wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
