Cambridge 4-4 Blackpool

Cambridge hit back from 4-1 down to secure a remarkable 4-4 draw with managerless Blackpool in Sky Bet League One.

Unmarked visiting captain James Husband headed in Lee Evans' corner after five minutes, before Shayne Lavery equalised against his former club on 28 minutes following James Brophy's centre.

Husband - scorer of two goals in 180 Blackpool appearances - completed an unlikely brace when he nodded in another Evans corner 10 minutes later and barely seconds after kick-off Kyle Joseph ran through after Cambridge hesitancy and lifted the ball beyond Vicente Reyes to make it 3-1 to the visitors.

Eight minutes after half-time Joseph played in Dominic Ballard to seemingly make the game safe, before Cambridge mounted their extraordinary comeback.

Danny Andrew powered in a free-kick from just outside the box in the 59th minute, then sub Brandon Njoku netted from close range for his first professional goal 13 minutes later.

With the Abbey Stadium rocking, chaos in the Blackpool box saw the ball fall to Lavery to net his second and make it 4-4 a quarter of an hour from the end as both sides collected their first point of the campaign.
